Abstract

A duplexing filter suitable for use in a mobile communication system. The filter has a core of dielectric material with several through holes that define resonators . The core has metallized surfaces and except for the top surface . Several metallized resonator pads surround each of the through holes on the top surface . A metallized serpentine region extends from one or more of the resonator pads toward a side surface of the core . The metallized serpentine region causes attenuation of a third harmonic frequency.
