Abstract

The invention relates to a paper machine clothing in the form of a fabric with a web pattern which recurs regularly over the surface and has indentations ( ) that are formed by the thread overlays ( ), the latter having been surface ground. The thread overlays cover three consecutive warp or weft threads crosswise thereto. A paper machine clothing of this type can be used especially in “through air drying” techniques to produce an especially voluminous tissue paper.
