Abstract

A superconducting magnet circuit includes, besides a closed circuit formed of a plurality of unit superconducting coils and connected in series and a first persistent-current switch a second persistent-current switch which forms a closed circuit by connecting the ends of an arbitrary unit superconducting coil and is therefore made up of the two closed circuits, whereby their mutual induction suppresses the decay of the magnet apparatus' central magnetic field to provide extreme stability.
