A delivery receptacle has an upper compartment having a greater depth dimension than the lower compartment, with back walls of the upper and lower compartments being substantially aligned, such that the upper compartment has an extended front section with respect to a front wall of the lower compartment to permit a bricked-in installation of the receptacle.
