Abstract
A chucking apparatus includes a chuck disk and a chuck arm The disk is a disk lockable with a turn table The arm has an opening through which the chuck disk is insertable, and a holding part where the disk is rotatably arranged, plural first hooks projecting inwardly radially from an edge of the opening and a second hook provided at the edge of the opening for preventing the disk in the part from escaping outward. The hooks allow insertion of the disk in the part and support the disk in the part The second hook is shaped to have rigidity against a force received when the disk tends to escape from the holding part than that against a force received when the disk is mounted.
