Abstract

The optical scanning device includes a deflector for deflecting plural laser beams in batch, first and second f&thgr; lenses for converting the laser beams from the deflector into uniform speed linear motion, reflection mirrors to for reflecting the laser beams from the first and second f&thgr; lenses , photoreceptor drums on which latent images are formed by laser beams, and third f&thgr; lenses to for focusing the laser beams reflected by the reflection mirrors to and guiding onto the photoreceptor drums . The laser beam reflected by the reflection mirror remotest from the deflector is the laser beam for forming a yellow image.
