Abstract
A tire comprises a tread portion in which a mold parting line by a single-split mold runs on or near the tire equator. In a central part of the tread portion in which tread grooves are provided, the groove edges which are stroked by tire mold's protrusions for making the tread grooves when the mold is opened are provided with a chamfer backed by a recess and/or the groove walls extending from such groove edges are provided with a variable inclination, whereby demolding defects can be reduced.
