In an electric-motor drive device for auxiliary devices in motor vehicles, such as sliding roofs, window controls, windshield wipers, and the like, having a gear housing ( ) and a cup-shaped motor housing ( ) that is slipped with its opening edge ( ) onto the gear housing ( ) and fixed thereon, to reduce manufacturing costs and the requisite installation space and improve force introduction from the motor housing ( ) to the gear housing ( ), the motor housing ( ), in its slip-on region, is roller-burnished into the gear housing ( ).
