Abstract
For the manufacture of composite panels ( ) it is proposed that they be held essentially upright by means of holding devices ( ) and that welding by means of a laser welding plant ( ) be performed in this position. This affords a considerable space saving compared with the conventional horizontal arrangement in which the composite panels are processed and handled.
