Abstract
The wire electric discharge machining apparatus includes apparatus or generating a discharge in a gap between a wire electrode ( ) and a machining subject ( ) to machine the machining subject. A gas supplying unit ( ) supplies a pressurized gas in the gap between the wire electrode and the machining subject. This wire electric discharge machining apparatus has a high productivity, and it is suitable for high-precision machining.
