Abstract

The appeal of a game can be increased by notifying actions performed in the game by other players. In a game system for providing a virtual stock trade game to a plurality of players, the player-owned brand data is stored which represents the stock brands virtually owned by each player in a game space. At least one of the plurality of players is selected based on, for example, his/her performance in the game, and the portfolio of the selected player is publicized to the other players based on the player-owned brand data.
