Abstract

An electric appliance ( ) comprising modules ( ) that can be juxtaposed to one another and interconnected using bridge elements ( ) for transmitting electric signals and operating voltages. The modules ( ) and bridge elements ( ) are provided with a pair of plug-in connectors ( ) and also a pair of mating plug-in connectors ( ).
