Abstract
An optical switch ( ) includes a base ( ), two input ports ( ), two output ports ( ), a movable reflector assembly ( ), a driving means ( ) and a cover ( ). The movable reflector assembly has a first reflector ( ) with two outer reflecting surfaces ( ) and a second reflector ( ) with two inner reflecting surfaces ( ). The light beams from the input ports propagate to the output ports by moving the movable reflector assembly up and down between a first position and a second position and switching the first reflector and the second reflector into the path of the light beams in turn.
