Abstract
The present invention relates to new nucleic acid sequences, which code for a geranylgeranyl reductase, a method for producing new plants which contain the new DNA sequence and the content of tocopherol and/or chlorophyll of which is altered in comparison to wild-type plants, these new plants, parts and products thereof and plant cells as well as the use of the DNA sequences for the manipulation of tocopherol, chlorophyll and/or vitamin K content in transgenic plants, parts and products thereof and plant cells.
