Abstract
The present invention provides the use of (−) (3-trihalomethylphenoxy) (4-halophenyl) acetic acid derivatives and compositions in the treatment of insulin resistance, Type 2 diabetes, hyperlipidemia and hyperuricemia. It further provides (−) (3-trihalomethylphenoxy) (4-halophenyl) acetic acid derivatives that are useful for the treatment of insulin resistance, Type 2 diabetes, hyperlipidemia and hyperuricemia.
