Abstract

Purified water is obtained from tap water. NaCl is added to the purified water so that the conductivity thereof is at least 100 &mgr;S/cm. Then, electrolysis is applied. The obtained cathode water is output and neutralized. The obtained cathode water includes dissolved hydrogen (H , H., H ) of at least 0.1 ppm. This dissolved hydrogen prevents or suppresses DNA damage.
