Abstract
A method for expanding and curing formable elastomeric material , which is placed in the cavity of a previously molded tire is disclosed. The tire when filled with foamable rubber material is mounted on a curing rim and contacted with heat to simultaneously foam and cure the elastomeric material within the tire cavity The curing rim has a finished or a coated surface that permits the cured foam filled tire to be removed after curing by slipping the cured tire off the coated surface of the curing rim
