The first substrate has a protruding portion formed so that an edge portion of the first substrate protrudes toward the outside from an edge portion of the second substrate . The surface of the first substrate opposing the second substrate is formed to have an irregular surface . On the irregular surface in the protruding portion of the first substrate , a planarized layer is formed, and on the planarized layer , the mark (alignment mark ) is formed.
