Abstract
An air intake plenum ( )of a truck sleeper box ( ) is disclosed. The plenum ( )is in fluid communication with an aperture ( ) that penetrates through a peripheral wall ( ) of the sleeper box ( ), thereby providing fresh air ( ) to the plenum ( ). The plenum includes an enclosure ( ) and a fresh air inlet ( ) that is in fluid communication with an interior of the enclosure ( ) and the aperture ( ). The plenum also includes a recirculated air inlet ( ) in fluid communication with the interior of the enclosure ( ) and the air contained within the sleeper box ( ). The plenum further includes an air outlet ( ) in fluid communication with the inlets ( and ). The air outlet ( ) is adaptable to be in fluid communication with a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system. Additionally, a method for providing fresh air to a sleeper box is disclosed.
