Abstract

The driven rod ( ) is provided with an input portion ( ), around which a plurality of transmission members ( ) are arranged peripherally side by side. The transmission members ( ) swing to a disengaging position (Y) through a push member ( ) by a lowering spring ( ). When clamping, the piston ( ) is driven upwards. Then, first, a slant cam ( ) swings the transmission members ( ) to an engageable position (X), thereby enabling engaging portions ( ) to face the input portion ( ).
