Abstract
An apparatus and method for imprinting a hose ( ) with a continuous grip enhancing texture is disclosed. The texturing device (C, C′) is comprised of a circular guide tube ( ) through which the hose ( ) to be textured is driven. The guide tube ( ) is rotated, by a drive ( ). Texturing means mounted at the exit end of the guide tube ( ) are also rotated about the hose ( ) as the texture is applied to the hose ( ).
