Abstract
An apparatus for recording medical objects, in particular for recording models of prepared teeth, comprising a position-sensitive sensor ( ), which is movable in the projection direction, with a projection unit and a receiving unit ( - - ), and with a certain triangulation angle (&agr;) located between the projection path of the rays ( ) of the projection unit ( - ) and the observation path of the rays ( ) of the receiving unit ( - ), and with the projection path of the rays ( ) aligned parallel to the direction of movement of the sensor ( ), is realized for the accurate recording action of edges and steep surfaces of the type that occur in tooth cavities with a triangulation angle (&agr;) that is smaller than 10°, preferably smaller than 5°.
