Abstract
A photoelectric conversion layer , a transparent electrode layer , an insulating layer , and a back electrode layer are successively formed in this order on a conductive substrate having a through-hole formed therein, and the transparent electrode layer and the back electrode layer are electrically communicated with each other through the through-hole so as to provide a photovoltaic element in which no grid is employed and improve the productivity and the production yield.
