Abstract
In a recording and/or reproducing device ( ) for a cassette ( ) having a coupling element ( ) connected to its magnetic tape ( ) a pull-out element ( ) has been provided, which is constructed to be coupled to the coupling element ( ) and to pull the coupling element ( ) out of the cassette ( ) in a pull-out direction ( ), and which is retained with the aid of a retaining member ( ), which is movable between a standby position and an operating position, namely in a nominal position with respect to the retaining member ( ) when it is not coupled to the coupling element ( ), and after it has been coupled to the coupling element ( ) is movable to a take-up reel ( ) with the aid of a pull-out tape ( ) and, when the retaining member ( ) is situated in the area of its operating position, is retained so as to be movable with respect to the retaining member ( ) against the pull-out direction ( ) and which, when the retaining member ( ) is moved from its operating position into its standby position, is movable into its nominal position with respect to the retaining member ( ) in the undesirable situation that it does not occupy the nominal position.
