The transport device ( ), which is preferably designed as a robot, has a plurality of replaceable and type-related gripping tools ( ), with which it transports the components ( ) from the component feed device ( ) to the positioning devices ( ). In the case of a change from one component to another, the gripping tool ( ) is changed as well, and the old gripping tool ( ) is laid down on a gripper rest ( ) at or on the components ( ), which are just located on the positioning device ( ) or on the component feed means ( ).
