Abstract
A rotary mode selection switch ( ) for the synchronized switching over of the operating mode of a hand tool. The switch ( ) comprising a manually externally actuated driving member ( ) and a driven member ( ), wherein the driving member ( ) includes two eccentrically disposed recesses ( ′) for receiving two spring elements ( ′). The two spring elements ( ′) include initial front surfaces ( ′) that contact the driving member ( ) and second front surfaces ( ′) that are oriented in the same direction, wherein with an angle shift (&agr;) of the driving member ( ) relative to the driven member ( ), at least one of the second front surfaces ( ′) of the spring elements ( ′) alternately contacts at least one eccentrically disposed contact piece ( ′, the contact piece axially engaging into the recesses ( ′), of the driven member ( ).
