Abstract
A device for conveying insulating glass panes, which are slightly inclined from the perpendicular, is provided with a horizontal conveyor ( ) on which the insulating glass panes stand, and with a supporting device ( ), which extends above and parallel to the horizontal conveyor ( ). The supporting device ( ) defines by one or more supporting elements a pane movement plan ( ) against which rest the insulating glass panes of the horizontal conveyor ( ). The horizontal conveyor ( ) has two parallel and synchronously drivable conveying elements ( ), supporting surfaces ( ), which are aligned substantially vertical to the pane movement plane ( ). The distance of one of the conveying elements ( ) from the other conveying elements ( ) is variable.
