Abstract
A label for a container has a transparent first foil ( ) consisting of a transparent nonslip material ( ), which can be a thermoplastic elastomer, a transparent second foil ( ) consisting of a transparent material ( ) with tensile strength, such as polypropylene, and an adhesive layer ( ). The second foil ( ) is arranged between the first foil ( ) and the adhesive layer. The second foil ( ) is provided with an imprint ( ) on a side facing the adhesive layer ( ) and the imprint ( ) is embedded in the adhesive layer. In another embodiment the label includes a transparent foil ( ), which is made of a transparent material ( ) with tensile strength, a nonslip coating ( ) on a first side ( ). The coating ( ) is preferably a lacquer coating ( ). These labels provide a nonslip gripping surface on a container and are dimension stable, which facilities imprinting.
