Abstract

The use of surface-coated rutile modification TiO pigments having a primary particle grain size d of 0.1 to 1.0 &mgr;m as an anticorrosive white pigment, with firstly magnesium phosphate and secondly aluminum oxides and/or aluminum hydroxides being precipitated onto the TiO pigments, is described.
