Abstract
The display module ( ) includes at least one liquid crystal cell ( ) electrically and mechanically connected to a flexible display control printed circuit ( )having, arranged to a single face, electronic components for controlling the cell and metal paths for connection to the components and to said cell ( ). In order to make it, the printed circuit ( ) is first placed on the back side of the cell ( ), the face of the printed circuit with no components facing the back of the cell ( ), the printed circuit ( ) is positioned under the cell ( ), a mechanism for assembling the module ( ) defining the location of the display of the cell ( ), being made on the printed circuit ( ) for the positioning thereof with respect to a display marking device ( ) arranged on the cell and a portion of the face of the printed circuit with no components is secured directly to the back of the cell ( ). The assembly mechanism of the printed circuit allows the module to be placed precisely on a complementary mechanism ( ) of an apparatus case ( ), for example a wristwatch case, accommodating it to have the liquid crystal cell in a determined position in the case.
