Abstract
A method and an apparatus for transporting thermal energy produced in a motor vehicle provides that the waste heat of an electronic component ( ), such as a pulse-controlled inverter, be utilized to heat other vehicle parts, such as the internal combustion engine ( ) or the passenger compartment. To that end, preferably two coolant circuits ( ) are provided, which can be coupled to one another or decoupled from another in order to control the flow of heat.
