Abstract

An exciter system ( ) able to communicate information between an exciter unit ( ) and one or more remote units ( ) or between multiple exciter units ( ). The exciter units ( ) may include wireless type exciter devices, such as optimum exciters ( ), or they may include wired equivalent type exciter devices, such as direct connect exciters ( ). The exciter devices ( ) inject or extract RF currents ( ) in the metallic framework ( ) of a vehicle. The remote units ( ) couple electromagnetic fields ( ) with the metallic framework ( ) of the vehicle. The information is exchanged with the exciter devices ( ) by communications equipment ( ) that modulates or demodulates the RF currents ( ) and/or electromagnetic fields ( ) with the information. As the RF currents ( ) and/or electromagnetic fields ( ) reach everywhere within, on and in close proximity to the vehicle the information is communicated throughout.
