Method reducing cross-talk between adjacent column conductors in a field emission display ( ) that has a plurality of column conductors ( A, B, C, A, B, C) on which electron emission structures ( ) are disposed. The field emission display ( ), also includes a plurality of row conductors ( ). Cross-talk is prevented by ensuring that adjacent conductors are not in an active state at the same time.
