Abstract

A belt-like film is moved along a plate folded to be rectangular in section, so that the film is formed into a continuous tube by a tubular frame of the plate . A spring piece having an anvil bulged out therefrom is securely held on the inner side edge of the aforementioned plate , and an ultrasonic hammer is located face to face with said anvil , so that both side edges of the belt-like film formed into a tube are placed on the anvil to be melded by the ultrasonic vibration of the hammer
