Abstract
A fast-action coupler for coupling a first tubular component ( ) to a second tubular component ( ) includes a spring wire ( ) as a retaining unit. The spring wire ( ) is secured to the second component ( ) and with its end part ( ) is resiliently fixed in a locking position for a retaining part ( ) on the first component ( ).
