Abstract
An air/oil separator tank ( ) has a separator element ( ) including coalescing media ( ). A separate downstream drain layer ( ) removes the separated coalesced oil and passes clean air. The separator element is removable from the tank for replacement. The drain layer is permanently attached to the tank.
