Abstract
A method and stabilizing gas lift controller for controlling the production flow rate of an oil well, which well comprises at least one gas injection choke ( ) and/or at least one production choke ( ), the choke or chokes being controlled as a function of process measurements, characterized in that pressure, temperature and flow rates are stabilized through active feedback control and continuous manipulation of said choke or chokes as a dynamic function of available process measurements.
