Abstract
The invention relates generally to rolling stands ( ) for strips and the like, of the type with crossing rolls ( ). More specifically, the invention relates to a special bearing ( ) which allows the angular adjustment of the crossing rolls ( ) even under load, that is to say, during rolling. The bearing ( ) is interposed between the parts which in the course of the angular adjustment, move relative to one another and onto which the rolling forces are transmitted. According to a preferred embodiment, the bearing of the invention is formed by two rolling-contact thrust bearings superposed eccentrically one above the other.
