Abstract
A DV camera provides DV data recorded on a tape to a PCI bridge through a DV data output terminal while decompressing the DV data. The DV data thus decompressed are converted into analog signals with a video encoder and outputted through an analog video signal output terminal . A video decoder converts the analog video signals into digital signals. The PCI bridge outputs the digital data to a graphic card . In this way, moving pictures provided from the DV camera are displayed on a CRT . The PCI bridge transfers the DV data provided by an interface to a memory. The data stored in the memory is written into the hard disk under control of the CPU
