Abstract

A light-reaction type optically active compound and light-reaction type chiral agent of the following general formula (I) or (II). In the general formulae, R and R represent a hydrogen atom, an alkoxy group having 1 to 15 carbon atoms, an acryloyloxyalkyloxy group having 3 to 15 carbon atoms in total or a methacryloyloxyalkyloxy group having 4 to 15 carbon atoms in total.
