Abstract

A contact and a conductor plate are held in the housing so that portions of the contact except its end portion and the plate can be put in a parallel relation to each other. Also, a contact is held in the housing so that when the connector and are fitted to each other, portions of the contact except its end portion and the plate can be put in a parallel relation with each other. Further, the end portions and are so shaped that the distance between the signal line formed by the contacts and and the plate can be kept substantially uniform. This can provide a stabilized impedance of the signal line formed by the contacts being contacted with each other.
