Abstract
To control the change, necessitated by the transmission of system information in the local information transmission loop, from a telecommunication channel—e.g. the C channel defined in the DECT standard—to a telecommunication channel—e.g. the C channel defined in the DECT standard, in a telecommunication subsystem which is tied into a telecommunication system as local information transmission loop—particularly a DECT-specific RLL/WLL subsystem tied into an ISDN system, the changing of channels is preferably initiated and performed by a time-limited interruption of the transmission of information in the telecommunication subsystem and subsequent resumption of the transmission of information.
