Abstract
This invention provides methods of bone healing and fracture repair comprising administering to a patient in need thereof an effective amount of a polypeptide analog of parathyroid hormone related peptide (PTHrP) and salts thereof, wherein amino acid residues 22-31 form an amphipathic &agr;-helix. Systemic administration is a preferred mode of delivery.
