Abstract
A toroidal tape core is produced from magnetic sheets ( ) which may have slits ( ). In order to improve the behavior of the toroidal cores ( ) at high frequencies, the magnetic sheets ( ) have a high surface roughness. The surface roughness of each magnetic sheet ( ) is at least equal to the skin penetration depth at the frequency being used.
