Abstract

The invention is directed to a carburetor arrangement in a housing ( ) and especially in the housing of a work apparatus such as a motor-driven chain saw or like portable handheld work apparatus. An engine ( ) is mounted in the housing ( ) and has an inlet channel ( ) which is connected via a connecting pipe ( ) to the intake channel section ( ) of a membrane carburetor ( ). An intake air filter ( ) is mounted on the carburetor ( ) on the end face ( ) facing away from the connecting pipe ( ). Combustion air is supplied through the intake air filter ( ). To avoid a damaging warming of the carburetor, a heat-draining component ( ) is mounted on the end face ( ) of the carburetor which faces away from the connecting pipe ( ).
