Abstract
A hydrogel formed by adding an anion having a molecular weight of 90 or more to an aqueous dispersion of a cationic amphiphile comprising a linear or branched alkyl group having 10 or less carbon atoms in a hydrophobic moiety. The hydrogel has a network having a bilayer-membrane, nano-fiber structure and undergoes a reversible gel-sol transformation.
