Abstract
Disclosed herein is sustained-release formulations of tramadol comprising tramadol saccharinate coated with at least one sustained-release coating. The sustained release formulations may also contain tramadol in non-sustained release form, and other pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. Also disclosed are methods of preparation of and methods of treatment using the inventive formulations.
