Abstract
A device on the tube barrel of a tube weapon, more particularly on an aircraft cannon. It comprises a bottle, arranged on the muzzle end of the tube barrel by means of holding means, which serves to take up a shock wave at the muzzle. The bottle possesses a rear opening and following same in the direction of shooting a front opening, through which a fired projectile leaves the bottle. A blast divider tube, extending in the direction of shooting, is inserted into the front opening of the bottle, and serves as a passage through which the projectile passes. The blast divider tube also divides the bottle into an expansion space between the divider tube and the muzzle and a blind space toward the front.
