Abstract
The deformation of cylinder bores in a cylinder block is prevented. The cylinder block is inserted into a front housing . The cylinder block is fixed to the front housing by tightening plural screws which penetrate through the cylinder block , from an end surface side thereof, to be screwed into an end wall of the front housing . Plural deformation absorbing grooves are provided on the end surface . Each one of the deformation absorbing grooves is provided in each intermediate space between the adjacent paired cylinder bores
