Abstract

Even under an environment where a reset signal cannot be issued, a print stop can be realized from a host computer for print data during the printing in a printer. When a data transmission controller ( ) parses the print data and generates transmission data, if a print stop command is detected, optimum complementary data is generated in accordance with delimiter information of the transmission data and the complementary data is transmitted to a printer ( ) through a data transmission processor ( ) subsequently to the transmission data.
